 Basic use includes surfing the web, online video streaming, email and normal family use.  For gaming and more specialised use we recommend a powerful processor  with plenty of RAM.  Business use includes connecting to email servers and your company network.

Older laptops generally sell for between £50-150 and these typically are running Windows XP, 512MB or 1GB of memory and are ideal for basic use and web use.  More up-to date laptops run Vista or Windows 7 generally start from £150 upwards and normally have a minimum of 1GB or 2GB of memory and 80GB hard disk drive or greater.
